Ahmedabad Bomb Blasts - July 26 2008

July 27th, 2008 · No Comments

What the hell is happening in India? Just a day after the serial bomb blasts in Bangalore, we have even more deadly bomb blasts in Ahmedabad…. and all this while the Jaipur bomb blasts from May have still not been solved. That case has already gone cold it looks - because no further information/reports are being released.

Sixteen serial blasts occurred in a span of 60 to 70 minutes on Saturday evening in crowded market areas in Ahmedabad leaving at least 45 dead and several injured. And there was at least one unexploded live bomb that was defused by security agents.

The areas where the blasts occurred were at Maninagar, Isanpur, Narol circle, Bapunagar, Hatkeshwar, Sarangpur bridge, Sarkhej, Odhav, Sardar Patel market, Civil hospital, Juhapura, Ambur tower building, Raipur and Gowribhadi.

The injured have been admitted in several hospitals including Vadilal Sarabhai Hospital, Civil Hospital and LG Hospital. And with cold-blooded ruthlessness, terrorists targeted hospitals to maximise casualties. Two public hospitals - Civil Hospital and L G Hospital - apart from a private hospital run by VHP’s international general secy Pravin Togadia - were targeted, killing 18 people.

The blasts were triggered by timer devices to coincide with the rush of victims from other blast sites. Two blasts at Civil Hospital at 7.55 pm and 8.02 pm near the trauma center killed at least 15 persons, reportedly including two doctors and a medical student. The first blast took place inside an ambulance in the parking lot while the other one, planted on a bicycle, went off soon after that.

The intensity of the blast was so powerful that a person’s body was flung nearly 50m from the spot while another victim’s leg was found nearly 100m away. Windowpanes on the second floor of the building and windshields of cars parked almost 100m away were also smashed.

“The toll in the blasts that hit Ahmedabad has gone upto 45 with seven people dying overnight. The number of injured is 145,” Gujarat’s Health Minister Jainarayan Vyas said.

Reaction and Comments by Indians Worldwide
***************************************************

sateesh, Bangalore, says: Seeing the incidents happened I can say these terriorist got full control over india to do any massive destructions. I request government to take strict measure against eradicating this problem from the roots. India.

Mathew, Saudi Arabia, says: For those justify this act of evil. Does, the ‘Terrorists’ dare enough to settle their scuffle with Modi? On what principles they kill their own innocent neighbours? What they expect to gain? How anyone trust them as the neighbours? Truly, it is the appearance of spirit of evil, destruction, and lawlessness.

irfankim, seoul, says: this is clearly aginst UPA and N-deal becaz BJP don’t want loose by next election thats what Mr Advani speech in parlement that UPA govt is in ICU !!!? what it does mean so at any cost BJP/BSP/RSS wan topple UPA govt and for vote bank in next election! what shame dirty politics!!CBI/Intelegence tell the truth bring those culprits into justice.punsih them strongly. dont just bliendly blame other religion with readymade answer and forget.respect the value of inncoents lifes, ..God save india.

Amyn, Mumbai, says: Our government is making us look like impotent. We give pictures of terrorist camps to USA….How many jets would we require to destroy them. Why the hell do we pay tax for…..so that our nation progress n have strong defense.I feel ashamed….how can not even a single leader stand up n say in media…lets screw this bastards.Today i dont see any practicality in democracy…. A system is right only when its FOR THE PEOPLE!

EkaIndian, India, says: Just for one ethnic Indian procession in Malaysia Malaysian govt invoked Internal Security Act. COWARD CONGRESS GOVT, WITH OUT ANY DELAY INVOKE TADA / POTA.

Bhattacharjee, Mumbai, says: Our leaders always failed to understand that Secularism and democracy being a lethal tool towards any country - its human nature to be opportunist. Further being belssed with leaders like Ram vilas Paswan, Mayawati, Arjun Singh to a few, how does any one in the country even expect securtity. Citizens and friends - die and let die, pour your money on these creeps and forget all…….

Rajni, Nederlands, says: Mr. Modi should not talk soft or behave soft against these anti nationalists because of the fear of stupid pro-muslim and fake secular media along with Congress. Punish them.

Muslim and INDAIN, UAE, says: Its inablity of our police and other departments, when ever there is any such type of attack they directly blame ISI, LT, HBMUJ or orther such type of groups, and they start harashing innocent people. Due to this they never got hold of real culprit, who is hiding behid these attacks. Whenever there is an attack on mandir or hindu residents its the Let or Hisbul mujahideen or ISI and to my utter surprise when ever there is an attack on masjid or in areas or muslim dominents again these groups are targetd, Even our media is like that when ever there is an attack they first ask SP or Police Supritendent do you suspect LET or ISI, ITs really funny they are directing the authorities and all those watching television start shouting on LET os ISI. I feel its our mistakes and we need to find out realy culprit who is behind those attacks, These guys are not from any religion they just want to make tension and terror among indians and they are doing the same policy or British (divide and rule), I urge all lindians to stop blaming one otheres and let be brothers and fight against these organization who are behind thes criminal attacks. Lets be a good person.

Gajanan, Dubai, says: Not a single politician get hurt into these Blasts? I just wonder? While announcing the commercial help for the blast victims, government needs to announce a reward in millions of rupees to get the information of the masterminds behind these blasts. And sewer punishments which are popular in Middle East region to those culprits will set a good example and will control the future attacks.

Ashish, Delhi, says: Suicide bombings can only be stopped when the terrorists have the fear in their mind. I think the only way to stop this is to punish the family members of terrorists with hardest measures even the capital punishment. If the police cannot find the terrorists , the government should not hesitate in hanging their kins. Then only these insane bastards will stop. Otherwise we should wait for God to reincarnate and save us.

Rahman, India, says: Indian people can’t stop deceiving themselves, they are made to believe that the blasts are carried out by Islamic extremist but what they fail to analyze is that it might be a handy work of one of the political parties.

Naidu, Bangalore, says: I request all to vote for Congress in next General Elections, or else there will be more blasts, we all Indians should demand for the immediate release of Afzal Guru We should also demand for relaxation of any Law against Muslim Extremism, Should allow “Huji” “Suji” “LeT” “Indian Mujahideens” to open up offices at the present Congress Offices, located all over the Country. All these extremist protection money offered by Congress leaders should be made tax free, There are many more points, which will be posted,to curb the terrorism in Great Congress India

yogesh, haridwar, says: this is not new to we people ,only 45 dies ,the life is very cheap in our country , if this happens in usa they wil take seriour action. we are powerless people and can’t do anything, our govt wil make some statement like “this is very shameful CBI wil enquiqre the blast” thats it .now go home and watch tv and enjoy life

Qaari, saudi arab, says: I cannot understand the POTA logic. When it was in force the authorities arrested many persons. It means they did not fear POTA, and hence it can’t be deterrant for terrorist. At the same time how was it possible to catch the culprit. Now there is no POTA in force and terrorist are fearless is the argument. Why it is not possible to catch or arrest the culprits. Are police not arresting because it is not meaningful if they could not be punished with present laws? For any law to apply you have to catch the wrong doer first. Police know how to do their job. They are not allowed in many cases by leadership. The terrorists are like chess men (tools) not players.

Ranjan, Dubai, says: Pakistan and Bangladesh are failed states. They must be incorporated within the Indian union. Before that we must denude these two states of their terrorist infrastructure. Then and only then will peace come. Frustrated elements within these two failed states are inciting these violences. Further to that India should be declared a country with Hinduism as the main religion. What is the meaning of remaining secular if that means that the majority will be treated with impunity and if that means that if Hindus are maltreated elsewhere such as in Pakistan and Bangladesh we cannot say anything in the name of secularism ? We are cowards BUT we were never cowards really. History tells us otherwise. Today what has happened is that politicians has eaten our souls and bereft it of whatever pride we had left within us.

Banyan Tree, Mumbai, says: During the trust vote debate in the parliament Manmohan Sing said that Mr Advani was sleeping when terrorists attacked the parliament. I wonder whether Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi too were asleep when Jaipur, Bangalore and now Ahmedabad was attacked. Instead of using intelligence agencies for keeping tabs on opposition utilise them to catch terrorists before the do any mischief and save the lives of Indian citizens. But I think expecting this from Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi is a little too much. People who cannot hang Afzal Guru have no interest in catching the terrorists.

pervez, dubai , says: there is no doubt that this heinous act needs to be condemned by one and all. but our political parties are soley and wholy responsible for what is happening in india. militant groups are taking advantage of the vote bank politics of the political parties. some muslim politicians who claim to be well wishers of indian muslims will try to prove that since the nuclear deal is against the muslims, this is the result of the govt going ahead with it. bjp will try to prove that this is the result of congress policies. congress will say (may not say openly) that this is happening only in bjp ruled states, they may be behind all this… the story will go on with trying to find a solution how to fight this. I am sure all this can be stopped if there is a will…

Praful, Sana, says: It is high time center should give more powers to States to tackle menace of terrorism. Very strict laws must be implemented without political interferrence. Recently Britain has passed law to detein suspected terrorist up to 6 month. This would give time to enforcement agencies to dig out details and act as deterent. Terrorists and their supporter should be shown no mercy at all. Enforcemet agencies should be given free hand to takle rogue elements. Bad elements must be finished ir respective of their caste and creed. Well coordinated efforts should be made between various agencies. Police and security agencies should not be questioned for eleminating rogue elements with criminal records.

Bhaskar, USA, says: Violence begets violence. Ultimately, the meek and peace loving people suffer in the crossfire, unless of course the meek and peaceful folks have become a near extinct species in a world run by the dogs of war. So ” when will the meek inherit the Earth?” Human beings are largely evolving in to the worst species ever. Only the degrees of depravity differ. So the super ape is at again!

Indian Patriot, UK, says: I feel ashamed of indian PM and other politicians as they just condemn all blasts that kill innocent people rather than taking some actions to stop these blasts. I kindly request all terrorists to target stupid and corrupted politicians rather than innocent people. killing one innocent person in a family spoils the future of all family members. I kindly request all citizens of india to vote for one who comes with no security.

ven, Bangalore, says: Lawless and spineless India need some more blasts like this to make our politicians to sit up and take notice. The sound emanating from the blast is not enough to our hardcore politicians who have gone dormant long back. Do you guys think Patil would take any sensible decision in today’s security meeting especially when election is around the corner? I doubt and most probably he’ll issue some more statements to shoo away the terrorists.

prakash anand, mysore, says: Indians are by nature very soft, irrespective of religion.Unless instigated and prompted, Indians do not take the path of violence. It is a stastical fact that there are lakhs of illegal immigrants, especially from Bangladesh staying in various parts of India.Previously Bangladesh was considered safe and not a country which promoted terrorist activities. But lately, with the intrusion of ISI and the emergence local radical groups in Bangladesh in the guise of political parties,Bangladesh is now a serious exporter of terrorists. With lakhs of illegal immigrants already in India, it becomes very easy to build local modules to carry out terror acts.Locals are instigated and brainwashed to commit subversive acts. The Congress and the Left Parties ignored this to promote their selfish political ends.It is time that the Central government took a serious note of this issue and deport all illegal stayers to their respective countries. India is perhaps the only country in the world which shows so much leniency to illegal acts .Humanitarian gestures to displaced people is understadable. But over generosity at the expense of lives and properties of our own people is rediculous.

Rao, London, says: does writing such long comments by our readers is of any use ? is it making any difference ? wot do u do of such comments? or are we simply wasting our time, energy and feelings?

srinivas, hyd, says: throw out these incapable leaders who can’t protect the citizens of this country. As long as caste based politics are there , those many years we suffer , our police forces , our administration officials should have indepedent of the politics, if we do not seperate these departments from politics , those many years we suffer. We need a secular political party who can do following things 1. Independent judiciry 2. Independent police, who can protect law & order 3. Remove all law & order related powers from the political leaders, those things should be kept under a person who is not related to politics. 4. We require a new generation leadership who can take better care for our people and who can protect the interests of our nation. According to the current scenario all political parties they did not deserve to rule india…. We do not want caste based politics , we do not want regional politics We want new leadership who is indepdent of all caste, regionalism and every thing…. Strengthen nationalism across the country thats the only mantra who can save this nation. Look at the chinese and learn from them.

vikas kansara, SURAT, says: it is shameful act and as an Indian we all awake and stand together against the brutal attack. The government should increase active police force by at least five times than the present force. We need not expect something from our politicians because they have no morality, any sense of responsibility. We as a nation, should think interrogatively. One thing is must, and that is a strong defined ‘Anti terrorist act’ in our constitution and a parallel Anti terrorist squad shoud be there.

Kumawat, Saudi Arabia, says: Whats happening in my country India? Is our security systems , Intellegence , Police and Home Ministry is so weak that Terrorist are playing with innocent public of country first in Jaipur than Banglore and now Ahemedabad and next dont know. Its realy shameful act of few people but more shameful is uncontrolled repeatation and failure of whole security, intellengece and administration systems. If we cant fight with internal elements today what we can aspect if something comes to face internationally tomorrow.

Sanjeev, Gurgaon, says: Total Intelligence Failure. The security agencies in India prefer to remain busy with VVIPs only and are not doing their assigned job meticulously. It is time for all the security agencies to get rid of their false egos and do something together to save the nation from further damage. Let us prove ourselves to be the best in the world at least when it comes to the Security & Sovereignty of our country.

Patriot, World, says: Our psuedo-secularist politicians are to blame for these mass murders.Their hands are smeared with the blood of innocent people. They have no feelings for their countrymen.Brothers its time we get away with these psuedo-secularist politicians.By elections we cant get rid of them for sure.So the only way is elimininating them and their families. All revolution has started this way,be it French or Chinese. We too can do it.Lets go for it.Its now or never.

h.mehta, uk, says: It is shameful that soft attitude towards terrorist by present govt due to vote purpose only. why the permission for anti terror act is given to Maharashtra and not to gujarat(step mother attitude) and why two years are not sufficient for deciding ‘afzal’ fate? Narendramodi ko mot ka sodagar kahenewalla is to go to gujarat and karnatak or not. As these states arge governed by BJP she would ot have feeling for these states. She would like togo where her partyis ingoernance. She had gone immediately to Malegaon!

vrs, bangalore, says: It is a gentle reminder to the people who blame BJP blindly for these terrorist attacks. People should not forget the history. UPA or the so called Congress under its 50 years rule created hundreds of terrorist orginations from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and not BJP. They failed to nip them in the bud rather they nurtured them with a sole aim to be in eternal power. People please introspect and don’t behave like politicians.

venkata, phoenix, says: I think securilists are happy seeing these incidents. Because these blasts are targetted at hindus, not muslims or christians. They can not tolarate these incidents if they are targetted these religions. I request to persons who conducted thes blasts to take this blood and do abhishakem to your God. He will be very happy for your acts…

naidu, hongkong, says: the trouble with all of us in times of crisis is we are good at writing letters to media chatting with friends but are incapable of action. words without deeds breed nothing but pestilence. here is the action plan i suggest defeat the upa in all states in the next election. all corrupt politicians and bribe givers should face immediate trial and those found guilty should be sent to prison for life.convert rashtrapathi bhavan into prison cells to accommodate prioners.we do not need rashtrapathi -only a chief executive. india should have only five or six administrative districts with only governor as administrative head.abolish all lingustically divided statesand legislatures.we will have five districts with executive councils .the central government will also have the governing council.no mps select experienced highly qualified administrators as executive councillors after thorough wetting procedure. amend the constitution .we will have no officials just for pomp and prestige as president and governorsof states.military will be in charge of defending our country.no politician.no one above 50 years of age will be executive vouncillors.all administrators will sit for competitive exam and interview.the military will take charge of exams.there will be no caste system for any job.meritocracy shall prevail.an independent anti -corruption agency will be set up with full powers for punishment and investigation. imagine our country with no mla. no chief minister no mp but only tehnocrats and admin.executives . governing our countryunder chief executive and an executive council -none of them above age of 55. may be i am dreaming an utopian state like plato

Indian, UAE, says: I quite strongly feel this may be the work of our very own POLITICIANS. Its all about POWER in which the common man gets CRUSHED. I urge all Indians to maintain peace, harmony and support each other in these difficult times. Please think and make your own decisions..DO NOT let evil intentions of politicians/any organization sway you. Show character and strength by being WITH each other.

sanjay, bangalore, says: I can see lots of diffrent nationals roaming in the streets of Bangalore from bengladesh, nepal and other countries who are drug dealers and prostitutes also arabic students are doing nosnsense stuff in bangalore and if complained police take money and will not do any thing. So for the welfare of india check the passports and visas. The senario is same in Kerala as well….

beegeeaar, salem, tamilnadu., says: Again a series of bomb blasts in Ahmedabad. The death toll is over 40 and hundred injured. The terrorists attacks are so frequent that now a days it is not taken seriously. The incident is coolly forgotten when the next attack a bigger one takes place. What is the Govt. going to do apart from expressing their sorrow over the loss of lives of innocent people ? Will there be an end to this menace ? The Government is not at all taking hard steps to stop the frequent attacks and save the precious lives of innocent people. Better late than never. Will the Govt. move now atleast to address the problem.

lohith, dubai, says: I think this kind of terrorist attacks are becoming more in INDIA, mainly because of the negligence of the Local and central government towards the problem of terrorism. Another main reason is our courts, the suspects of these blasts or terrorists attacks are not given hard scentences like hang till death not in a single case, can we know why?

Patriot, World, says: The revolution should start in Bengal and UP by eliminating the Left Front and Samajwadi politicians.Where is their secularism talk now? They have full knowledge of the culprits as they are the perpetrators of such heinous designs.Indians,go for them. They have killed your brothers and sisters.Dont spare a single one among them.

raj, hyd, says: I see comments saying India is a soft state and all this is due to our consitution which is democratic. My friends our constitution was copied from these very countries if you will realize, there was no one brilliant enough to understand what’s in completely. The reason I say this is because britain and america are democratic countries also but as far as terror goes their constitution does take the crap, there has been no other incident after the major incidents that we know of, whereas in India we are slowly beginning a daily schedule. Earlier the media used to provide brilliant analysis on how fridays were strategically used, how IT was aimed and all kinds of nonsense, this time round the terrorists have provided one more day of the week to add to statistics and analysis, and we will merrily keep analysing and letting our ministers condemn in extra strong words like dastardly and inhuman the incident and forget the episode till the next opportunity for analysis comes up.

Pandian, United kingdom, says: It is a shame on these politicians who cannot even guarantee a national security for their own people and how on earth they can rule this lovely country of tolerance and democracy. the appeasing culture of the minorities should go. Bring national security as the priority, bring back POTA, illegalise anything based on religion such as education, political party etc etc.., punish those act against the national security irrespective of religion. Bring one law for anybody irrespective of religion it is a real democratic country. If they donot realise the impact of these kind of acts by the terrorists, india will have to pay a very heavy price in economy and development in the future. Nobody will come to india for investment and development.!!!!!!!! Wait and watch!!!!!!!!!.

Safiulla , Germany, says: Is this becoming a daily routine? My heart goes out to people who have lost their lives and their loved ones in this heinous and inhuman act. I wish and pray GOD protect innocent people and hold those involved in such acts accountable. These are directly or indirectly consequences of wrong doings by some immoral and dirty politicans to garner votes. As long as there are communal organizations like the VHP, RSS and the BJP innocent common people will be the target of their stratagies. Its a famous saying that “Politics is the last stage for scoundrels” as long as there are dirty politicans they wont stop from doing anything in the name of democracy to get into power. Indians should act maturedly and not get influenced by these cheap politicians, spreading hatred amoung innocent people for their own petty gains. Its time indians start thinking independently using their own minds and without be influenced by the dirty scum of the society - the politicians, inorder to save our beloved country and to avoid giving inhuman people chances to repeat such acts in the future. May peace, justice and unity prevail….

SA, Mumbai, says: We know where our enemy is but we do not want to tackle it and we are increasing the risk for our citizens

Arun, Ahmedabad, says: We should contact the Israel Intelligence to help us combat terrorism in our country. They have been the victims as we are and I am sure if the Govt.of India and the Gujrat Govt.will approach them they will extend all help to us.

ahmad, jeddah, says: AGAIN the baseless blame is on muslims as usual . This is purely a vote politics and sheer frustation of BJP after the victory of congress in parliament. The events occurred in BJP ruled states and are planned by the politicians in power in those staes. Why the anger is on muslims.Did the muslims save the congress government. This all is just to divide the country on religious ground before election. There shuold be urgent investgation and culprits should be exposed.

Alam, Saudi Arabia, Dammam, says: For controlling the serial blasts, opposition should support to govt. instead of criticize.

Vipin Chinchalkar, Germany, says: Whole of last week Indian politicians were busy in the number game, whereas the terrorist were planning for their bomb blasts locations. Now our leaders will say this is cowardly act. They are more bothered about a possible Israel attack on Iran..who cares about India. Now how about honoring Afzal Guru with bharatratna, before the Pakistani’s honor him with Nishan-e-Pak

Shrinivas , Bangalore, says: DEMAND ACTION! The country has been suffering because of these attacks for last few years, and every time this happens the significance of the attack reduces, typical of Indians we just get used to this. INDIANS PLEASE DON’T DO THAT. We don’t want to be another Lebanon or Afghanistan. Wake up Indians! Don’t accept this inefficient security by our govts central/state. Demand actions! be it the run-away underworld don or any connected politician or bureaucrats or police. Our previous generation gave us freedom, let our generation be not responsible for loosing it. The least one can do it is to talk about this and oppose it in every forum, every public place, with every representative, every time.

girwar, UK, says: I am ashmed, my country is run by some most selfish people..They just care about their money matters and family. What a great fight they had for the N-deal why they not conducting a confidence vote for trust in government security policy. Why Manmohan singh fighting a lot for financial factor but leaving poor people to get killed in terrorist attacked. Delhi, Mumbai all are over now small cities are target. I am feeling so helpless and ashmed as an Indian. It is sad that they are targeting sensitive cities. God bless Indian public and give these politicians a lesson.

Suraj, Mumbai, says: “Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues and freebooters. All Indian leaders will be of low calibre and men of straw. They will have sweet tongues and silly hearts. They will fight among themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles.” - Winston Churchill on the eve of Indian Independence Prophetic words.

Amit, Mumbai, says: Has anyone though why these so called “Terror Groups” attack common people. Why till now there has not been a single attack on a political party office or a important leader. Without support from our own people such attacks cannot happen. What is the media doing? Just printing leaders pictures of hospital visits. Its time the media did something more responsible. We don’t need debates and opinion polls. We need action, swift and fast. So that next time no innocent life is lost.

Kumar, melbourne, Australia, says: As long as India and Indians allow parties with total affiliation to one segment of society–be it Hindus or Muslims or Dalits–these acts of violence will go on. There should not be hand outs on the basis of religion–such as free land that belongs to the Govt and the people or crores of rupees for Haj pilgrimage or hand out to Madrassas or temples or churches nomination of Christians to Rajya Sabha, merely because Christians are not selected by political parties. Force all institutions affiliated on the basis of Religion–eg Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University, The Hindu newspaper, Hindustan Times etc–to change their names, culture etc. We need to be secular in practice–NOT on paper. India is not one nation–it is a nation of nations and there will never ne National Integration promoted by Gandhi and Nehru unless we get rid of religion and language and region based political parties. As for God–even if the acts of violence are that of those who do not fear or believe in God, why doesn’t God protect the innocent–if God is all that omnipotent and omnipresent. This is an ample evidence that God DOES NOT exist. He or she exist ONLY in the minds of the believers–just like Superman.

Yunus, Trivendrum, says: I can not understand what these peaple are trying to prove. All this has proved that police and administration is incompitant or they know evrey thing also they know who is behind all this. but they dont want to act because they are being muted by BJP and RSS. this is the act to comunalise and polarise the population to win the comming election. therefore administration should look this angle also. Suspected list should include every body without any ecception, politiocians, RSS, Bajrang Dal, VHP, BJP Terrorism is the specialty of BJP, BajranDal, ShivSena, RSS, VHP for money, power, vote bank. Why it is happend just after Trust Vote??

Shahid, KSA, says: It is indeed very heinous crime doing by the devil, they have no sense that if one member killed in family its grief for whole family, friend, relatives etc. God knows what is their intention and where this comes in their mind to kill brutally. Our government should be more taught when it come to dealing with the terrorist, and do not show a small degree of mercy to the terrorist.

Joshi, Dombivli, says: 8 blasts in Banglore,17 blasts in Ahemadabad,so total 25 blasts on two consecutive days, killing almost 50 people….is it not a big thing for Home minister Mr.Shivraj Patil??He has announced a meeting today at 11am,12 hours after the incident! He should have taken the immediate action last night. He should have thought about innocentpeople. I don’t think that police officers shold be blamed for thisincident. They aretrying their best!”Self help is the best help”at the time of such situations. To fight these terrorists everyone will have to work together. It is the time not just to follow their steps after the incident, but to be one step ahead of them to avoid all this.

Gautam, Mumbai, says: India ia very soft state, and has been very tolerant to foreigners in its entire hostory. Moguls and later English ruled our country for centuries. We took all this lying down, and continue to take this 60 years after independance. The biggest problem lies with our constitution, and that restricts our ability to fight corruption and terrorism. Being democratic we let people make their own rules and religion to suit their agenda. The diversity of the people and sheer population, breeds total disregard for any semblance of ground reality. Take the case “Kalawati”. a much publicised story of poverty and debt, and young congress leader choose her example in Loksabha to support need of electricity to improve her lot. A totally stupid example, implying that to support such “kalawatis” , nucler power is necesity of the country - what an idiotic idea. Did he mean that India can give “poor” farmers free electricty for life and generations that these people keep on producing without food or shelter and expect govt to fund this. “kalawati has umpteen children, and govt is expected to fund each of them for life and they will produce many more umpteem families as they find easy recourse to air their griviences (wrongly) to eager politicians -who use them to garner vote banks, without really addressing their problems - “illiteracy.” The news about schooling from “madrassa” eligible for formal education is one more disastrous move, legaliizing education based purely on religious fundamentals. This is real “low” of Indian politics and its opportunistic, corrupt and criminal and uneducated “leaders”, and some of whom aspire to become PM of the country. It would unheard of in any civilised country to differ and not execute punishment to the person who bombed the parliament for years - just in order to appease the community -who takes all kind of liberty with the “democracy”, blasting the public in different parts with impunity and laughing at the inablity of the administration to punish the known, openly and freely moving perpratators of such act of terrorism. Shame on these leaders who witness killing of their countrymen silently and some them even encourage them (the terrorists)in order to garner their votes from “minority” community. This nothing more than murder of their own son to save their neighbors militant kid. How low and immoral and can one becomee -can only be learned from Indian politicians.
