Indian Tigers are getting extinct!!

September 26th, 2007 · 4 Comments

Folks, the news on our Tigers is not good at all. If you see any tiger parts trading, please let the authorities know. It will be sad if despite all our economical progress, we can’t save this ‘crown jewel’ species.

A new scientifically-based count reveals the true extent of the catastrophic fall in tiger numbers. Tiger body parts and bone are used in traditional Chinese medicine and the skins are prized too.

Wildlife experts are unanimous that unless there is a ban on tiger parts, and related medicines, there is little chance to stop the ongoing poaching.

Of course, we can point fingers at China for acting as ready buyer for our dead tigers, but jab ‘humare log hi involved hain to kya hoga?’

ummm… i didnt read the article but you ppl should really go to the government about this and get a sponsor for a resort for indian tigers. that would be the best thing to do. dont put all of them in zoos. dont put any more in zoos. tigers need to keep their instincts. they need to be wild. set up a resot and try the best as you can to keep away poachers. watch out for any illigal marketing of tiger skins and such, and be sure to let no one force you into bankruptcy so you have to shut down the resort. be careful and take care of the animals.
